In 1999, Mr. Neely received a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Music Technology. As an intern Mr. Neely worked as the Artist Management Specialist for U.A.B. Entertainment under the Direction of Dr. Henry Panion (Conductor/Composer/Arranger, Stevie Wonder Orchestra).
Projects include:
- Promotion and Marketing campaign for "Point of View" by Jazz Group "Tekneek"
- Promotion and Marketing campaign for " Live" and "Lessons for Life" by The U.A.B. Gospel Choir
Additional Cox Radio accomplishments include:
- The Coats for Kids Christmas Clothing Drive
- YMCA Clothing Drive for victims of the 2001 Tornado in Tuscaloosa, AL
- Citywide Blood Drive sponsored by Fox 6 and Cox Radio (2000)
- The Cox Radio annual Health Fair (2000)
In an effort to combine detailed proficiency in what he believed to be a compliment to his BA in Music Technology, Mr. Neely received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from U.A.B.
In 2006 Mr. Neely returned to Houston as the Promotions Coordinator for KMJQ-FM/Majic 102.1. It was at Radio One that Mr. Neely perfected his marketing and communication and DJ skills as "Chuck D volume II."
In addition to these skills, Mr. Neely aquired and excelled in designing various graphics, websites, DJ, video and audio presentations for the Radio One of Houston stations and the station clientele.
